To serve Lincoln County by protecting and improving the lives of homeless, abandoned, and stray cats through dignified and humane community-driven action. We prioritize trap-neuter-return (TNR) as a proven way to stop unwanted births, reduce overpopulation, and create healthier, more stable cat communities.
Adoption, hands-on care, and education are central to our work. Through outreach, awareness, and collaboration, we empower our community to take an active role in humane stewardship. Together, we can create a community that protects its most vulnerable animals and reflects the compassion we want to see in the world.

TNR is a humane and effective approach to managing free-roaming cat populations. Animal welfare organizations widely support them as a more ethical alternative to euthanasia-based control methods.

Felines are spayed or neutered by licensed veterinarians. This stabilizes colony sizes over time because sterilized cats no longer reproduce, reducing the population through natural attrition.

TNR encourages collaboration between local governments, animal shelters, and volunteers, creating a more compassionate and sustainable solution to managing outdoor cats.

I also volunteer with HATS and this is where my heart has always led me, helping animals of all kinds be safe, loved, and Happy. I feel at home with TCA, just as I did at a young age saving spiders, cats, dogs, and all creatures big and small.
